Welcome to Te Awaiti Hunting Adventures

Our 20,000 acres of private South Wairarapa coastal hill country on the East coast of the North Island of New Zealand offers an unmatched variety of terrain and hunting conditions. Mature native Podocarp forest, scrub-lands (reverted from pasture) plus open grass pastures, make for a perfect environment for both the deer and the hunter. The hunting area is well tracked and we use Polaris Rangers to travel around the coastal station.

We run trophy hunting and meat hunting options as well as having a great setup for group/ corporate events.

We do NOT charge trophy fees for each animal shot, so there is always a chance to take multiple animals.

Our trophy hunt packages are $805 per person per day and require a minimum of 3 days. This will include at least one stag per hunter as well as guiding, accomodation, meals, drinks, butchering/ vacuum packaging of meat and transport around the property.

Our meat hunt packages are $575 per person per day and require a minimum stay of 2 days. On our meat hunts we are targeting female animals as well as cull stags and look to take multiple animals. Guiding, accomodation, meals, some drinks with dinner and transport around the property are all included. If you and your hunting party enjoy more then a few drinks in the evenings you're welcome to BYO more drinks. For an extra $100 per animal we can also butcher/ vacuum package meat animals.

With a team of pig dogs available pig hunting can also be done for a fun adrenaline filled add on for no extra fee.

For accomodation we have our comfortable, purpose-built wilderness lodge/camp, Fully carpeted floors, 10 comfortable beds, warm fires, hot showers and wifi make for a welcome retreat from the rigours of a day’s hunting. With 7 miles of private coastline, crayfish and abalone (paua) often supplement venison and wild pork on the menu.
