Our Inspections are completed by a certified licensed building practioner and reports are issued to you within 24 hours, along with easy to understand specifications for essential repairs.
All of our property inspections include moisture testing, asbestos identification and are conducted to the highest standards, by a fully insured professional and compliant with the residential building inspection code standards NZS4306.
Vendor Pre-sale - Pricing from $600 + GST (pending size)
Traditional building reports are often considered off-putting however necessary, and we consider Inquest reports to be a marketing tool, (check out our sample). The initial provision of your report will have issue recommendations with links to relevant trade services, and you Vendor Pre-sale might opt to sell as is or have some of the recommendations amended. We can then assess the changes and easily amend our report .
Peace of mind maintenance report - Pricing from $600 + GST (pending size)
Sometimes defects on a property can appear without explanation and can occur rapidly, or over a prolonged period of time. Defects may include but are not limited to: cracks in walls, subsidence, cracking of ceiling plasterboard, gaps at sides of window openings, ingress of wet weather, moist walls, noticeable ceiling deflection, and deformation of building substrates, etc
Building Consultancy - Pricing $200 + GST per hour
Whether you need a special purpose property check - i.e a letter for insurance or banks, a verbal inspection check for pre-purchase/selling of a property, independent and specialised advice on proposed building plans/consents process, building consultancy is an affordable option to consider.
